“ I visited Barrio Eats & Drinks because it was close to my hotel and I wasn't at all disappointed. It was a little hard to find if you're using google maps, I was on the wrong side of the building and confused for a minute, and then when I found it, I realized there are three trees out front blocked their sign. Once inside, I thought that it was a pretty cute place, but I only have it 4 stars because it still felt a little oddly laid out. There's extra space that could be filled and it felt a bit industrial still, which I don't think the vibe is. However, the seating was comfortable and it was cute. The staff was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. Now the food.. Chef's kiss. I ordered the steak fajitas and literally everything, the meat, veggies, rice, beans, and tortillas were all exactly what I'd expect. They were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and delicious. They also had a great beer and cocktail menu. The only complaint I had about the food was they served chips and salsa upon arrival and the salsa about took me out! It was sooo hot. My eyes started watering, my nose was running and I just couldn't eat it. I'd definitely recommend this place and visit again if I'm ever back in downtown El Paso. ”
“ I was in El Paso for work, and after a long day of facilitating presentations, I was in the mood for some good Mexican food. Also, it had to be on the way to the hotel. We found Barrio, the menu looked good, and it was on the way to the DoubleTree. The first thing that caught my attention was the water carafe. They were all different and made the table look classy. The Barbacoa caught my attention. In California, it is challenging to find Barbacoa Nortena. The plate is served with rice, beans, tortillas, onions, cilantro, and delicious salsa. I also ordered a cup of Sopa de Fideo. You would think that after all that food I would be full, but wrong! I had enough room for dessert. We ordered Churros with strawberry and pecan ice cream and pecan pieces. DELICIOUS! It was so wonderful that I went back the next day and ordered the same thing. My friend ordered the Mole, which I tried, and it was so yummy! This is another place to return to on my next trip to El Paso! ”

I was surprised to receive sweat bread instead of chips and salsa, which was awesome to start the morning, along with a cup of coffee. The staff was attentive friendly, and provided excellent customer service. ”

My order was ready quickly with impeccable service from the staff mentioned above. On top of that the food is INCREDIBLE!!! The red and green sauce are bursting with flavor. The drinks are some of the best I have had definitely recommend the Paloma or the Tito’s cucumber cooler , they also have a great selection of beers ! If you haven’t tried it you need to grab friends and family and head there now ! ”
“ Nice and clean eating establishment. They offer Mexican food and burgers. They have a nice little bar. Big screen Tv's and a good wait staff and bar tenders. Polite and courteous. I had chicken tacos and I also purchased the "Juarez Burger". Both were good. My Bartender, Martin, started me off with the standard chips and salsa. Definitely recommend ”
